Tips to Avoid Penalties
Beginning this month, end users of Interfine Music will notice a new line item on their monthly invoices: penalties for artificial streaming reported by DSPs. These penalties, imposed by DSPs like Spotify, will be deducted directly from endusers' invoices.
To help end-users stay informed and compliant, Interfine Music will actively monitor and upload artificial streaming reports shared by DSPs onto our platform in the "Artificial Streaming" tab. end-users can access these reports through the platform's menu. A new column will be added to identify any penalties associated with artificial streaming. This transparency enables end-users to easily track and manage any penalties incurred.
1. Focus on Authentic Engagement: Encourage genuine interactions with fans through organic marketing efforts, such as social media engagement, live performances, and collaborations.
2. Avoid Artificial Promotion: Steer clear of services promising artificial streams or engagement, as these tactics can result in penalties and damage your reputation.
3. Monitor Streaming Patterns: Regularly review streaming data to identify any anomalies or suspicious activity, and take action to address them promptly.
